CB350RS Specifications

The Honda CB350RS runs a 348.36cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 21.07 PS at 5,500 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at a low 3,000 rpm. The early torque peak is the spec that matters most in practice - it means the engine pulls cleanly from low revs without needing to be worked hard, which makes highway cruising genuinely relaxed.

The 2025 model meets BS6 Phase 2 (OBD-2B) emission norms and uses an E20-compatible fuel system. Power goes through a 5-speed manual gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch - the clutch pull is notably lighter than Royal Enfield equivalents, which makes a real difference during Mumbai or Bangalore commutes.

ARAI-claimed mileage is 35 kmpl. In real-world riding, owners consistently report 35 to 42 kmpl across mixed city and highway conditions. Highway-only runs regularly touch 44 kmpl.

The CB350RS weighs 180 kg kerb - lighter than the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 at 191 kg and meaningfully lighter than the Classic 350 at 195 kg. Suspension is conventional telescopic forks at the front and twin-hydraulic shocks with preload adjustment at the rear. The rear suspension setup has attracted consistent criticism for being stiff on broken urban roads - it's a trade-off Honda made for the scrambler character, but it does affect day-to-day comfort.

Braking is handled by a 310 mm front disc with a 2-piston caliper and a 240 mm rear disc with a 1-piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS is standard on both variants. The system is well-calibrated - it intervenes when genuinely needed without the nervous feel of cheaper units.

The CB350RS rides on a 100/90-19 front tyre and a 150/70-17 rear. Both are tubeless. The block-tread pattern is part of the scrambler look but handles Indian tarmac without issue.
