Hero Passion Plus Variants: Standard vs Million Edition
The Hero Passion Plus is available in two variants with a price gap of just Rs 1,500. Both variants share the same mechanicals, engine, and feature set - the only difference is the colour scheme and graphics.
Passion Plus Standard - Rs 79,074 (ex-showroom) The base variant is fully equipped for daily commuting. You get the 97.2cc FI engine with i3S, LED headlamp, semi-digital instrument console, USB charging port under the tank, alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, and 130mm drum brakes with IBS. Colour options for the Standard: Black Heavy Grey, Industrial Dark Grey, and Black Nexus Blue.
Passion Plus Million Edition - Rs 80,574 (ex-showroom) The Million Edition is a cosmetic variant only - it shares the exact same engine, features, and mechanicals as the Standard. The differentiation is in the special-edition graphics and colour options: Black Brown Stripes (a retro-influenced brown stripe on black) and Sports Red Black (a bold red and black combination). If neither of those colours appeals to you, the Standard is the rational pick.
Which variant should you buy? For most buyers, the Standard at Rs 79,074 is the right choice. It offers everything the Passion Plus has mechanically and comes in three clean, practical colour options. The Million Edition adds Rs 1,500 purely for graphics - pick it only if you specifically want those colour schemes, particularly the Sports Red Black which tends to attract attention on the road.
On-road price range (both variants):
- Delhi: Rs 93,456 - Rs 94,976
- Mumbai: Rs 94,595 - Rs 96,900
- Bangalore: Rs 97,252 - Rs 98,800
- Chennai: Rs 98,700 - Rs 1,00,200
- Hyderabad: Rs 94,441 - Rs 95,122
- Pune: Rs 89,425 - Rs 91,017

Hero does not offer a mid-spec variant between the Standard and Million Edition - it's a two-variant lineup without options for disc brakes or additional electronic features. If you want more features (like a disc brake or a full-digital console), you'd need to step up to the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec or the Passion XTEC, both of which are priced higher. For the Passion Plus specifically, the Standard variant at Rs 79,074 represents the best value. Hero periodically runs exchange bonuses and festive offers that can bring the effective price down by Rs 1,000-3,000 - confirm the current scheme at your dealership before booking.
