Passion Plus Ex-Showroom Price

The Hero Passion Plus is priced at Rs 79,074 for the Standard variant and Rs 80,574 for the Million Edition (ex-showroom). These are among the sharpest prices in the 100cc FI commuter segment - the only other bike offering fuel injection at this price point is the Honda Shine 100, which starts higher.

The ex-showroom price covers the bike itself. The on-road price adds road tax (RTO), insurance for the first year, and dealer/handling charges. These add-ons typically push the total up by 15-24% depending on your state's RTO slab:

Pune is the most affordable city to buy the Passion Plus on-road - Maharashtra's lower RTO rates for smaller-displacement two-wheelers keep the total down. Delhi also offers a relatively low on-road premium due to its flat RTO structure. Bangalore and Chennai attract the highest on-road costs due to higher state levies.

Insurance: The mandatory first-year third-party insurance premium is fixed by IRDAI at approximately Rs 714 for sub-100cc bikes and Rs 1,366 for 100-150cc bikes. The Passion Plus, at 97.2cc, falls in the sub-100cc slab. Own-damage (OD) insurance, which covers theft and accident damage, costs approximately Rs 5,000-6,000 for the first year.

EMI: At a 20% down payment and 10% annual interest over 36 months, EMI works out to approximately Rs 2,281-2,500 per month for the Standard variant. Hero FinCorp, HDFC Bank, SBI, and Bajaj Finance are the common lenders for Hero bikes.

January 2026 price revision: Hero increased the Passion Plus price by Rs 250 across both variants in January 2026. The increase is minimal and keeps the bike highly competitive in its segment.
