Harley-Davidson X440: All Photos & Design Details
The Harley-Davidson X440 is a handsome motorcycle - more coherent in design than its price suggests, and one that clearly draws from Harley-Davidson's heritage without being a derivative of any specific existing model.
The overall silhouette is a classic roadster-cruiser: a round headlight, a teardrop tank, and a seat-to-tail line that flows cleanly. The proportions are well-judged - not stubby, not stretched. The 18-inch front wheel gives it a planted, substantial look from the front, while the 17-inch rear keeps the tail from looking ungainly.
The USD front forks are a visual highlight - the gold-anodised KYB units are visually premium and signal the bike's feature intent before you even read the spec sheet. Most bikes at Rs 2.35 lakh run conventional telescopic forks; the X440 doesn't, and it shows.
The tank carries a prominent Harley-Davidson script badge - bold and unmistakable from a distance. The instrumentation is a 3-inch TFT unit mounted cleanly between the forks, with Bluetooth connectivity visible in the display menu.
The X440 T's redesigned rear fender is a clear improvement over the original's more upright setup - the newer tail section is sleeker, lower, and more cohesive with the rest of the bike. Bar-end mirrors on the T complete a cleaner cockpit than the standard variants. In any of the four T colours, it looks like a significantly more expensive motorcycle than it is.

The most photogenic angle for the X440 is the front three-quarter - the USD forks, round headlight, and tank badge together make a compelling composition. Baja Orange and Vivid Mustard photograph most vibrantly; Matte Black delivers the most dramatic results in shade or evening light. For comprehensive official photo galleries across all variants, BikeWale and BikeDekho carry the most complete libraries with both studio and lifestyle shots.
