December 2025: X440 T Launched, Prices Revised
The most significant X440 update since the original 2023 launch arrived in December 2025. Harley-Davidson launched the X440 T on December 6, 2025 at Rs 2,79,500 ex-showroom. The T adds ride-by-wire throttle, two riding modes (Rain and Road), switchable traction control, a redesigned rear fender, a flatter wider handlebar, and bar-end mirrors to the X440 platform.
Simultaneously, Harley-Davidson discontinued the base Denim variant and revised prices: the S dropped from Rs 2,79,500 to Rs 2,59,011, and the Vivid was adjusted to Rs 2,35,016. The result is a cleaner, better-differentiated three-variant range with more competitive pricing at each step.
2026: Current Status
As of mid-2026, the X440 range is stable at three variants (Vivid, S, T). No new variants have been announced. Harley-Davidson India continues expanding the X440's Hero-network dealership footprint, now covering over 200 cities.
Looking Ahead
Speculation around a follow-up 500-600cc platform from the Hero-Harley collaboration has appeared in the Indian motorcycle press, but no official confirmation has been made. For now, the X440 T represents the ceiling of the range.

Harley-Davidson and Hero MotoCorp confirmed the Sprint 440 - a new cruiser built on the same 440cc single-cylinder platform as the X440 - slated for India launch by end of 2026. The Sprint 440 will be the first Hero-Harley model exported internationally, using Hero's Neemrana factory under the Make in India initiative, and is designed with a more relaxed riding position and lower seat height than the current X440 range.
For the most current X440 pricing and stock, Hero MotoCorp's authorised dealer network is the most reliable source. Harley-Davidson India's website lists the X440 range with official ex-showroom pricing. Festive season offers (October-November) have historically included finance and accessories bundles on the X440 - worth timing if your purchase is flexible.
