Road Glide Specifications

The Harley-Davidson Road Glide is powered by the Milwaukee-Eight® 117 V-twin engine - a 1923cc, air- and liquid-cooled unit that produces 107.2 bhp at 5,020 rpm and 175 Nm of peak torque at a very accessible 3,500 rpm. That torque figure is the one that matters on Indian highways: it means you almost never need to downshift for overtakes, and highway cruising at 100-120 km/h feels as effortless as walking. The engine is paired with a smooth 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Road Glide sits at 387 kg (kerb), which is genuinely heavy - comparable to a small hatchback. Harley offsets this with a low 720 mm seat height and a well-balanced chassis, but you will feel the weight the moment you try to wheel it backwards into a parking spot. The 22.7-litre fuel tank, combined with the claimed 16.66 kmpl efficiency, gives a theoretical range of around 363 km - exceptional for a touring motorcycle.

Braking is handled by a dual-channel ABS setup with 300 mm discs front and rear, giving confident stopping power at highway speeds. The Road Glide also gets Cornering ABS, Traction Control, and Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) for hill-start assist - a level of electronic rider support you rarely find on cruisers in this class.

The centrepiece of the cockpit is the 312 mm (12.3-inch) Skyline OS TFT touchscreen, which supports Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and multiple ride mode selection. The 2026 Sharknose fairing incorporates computational fluid dynamics to reduce helmet buffeting - a meaningful upgrade for Indian highway conditions where summer crosswinds can be significant.
