The Harley-Davidson Road Glide is a visually imposing machine - its most distinctive design element is the frame-mounted Sharknose fairing, which gives it an instantly recognisable profile that sets it apart from the fork-mounted Batwing fairing on the Street Glide. The 2026 fairing has been redesigned using computational fluid dynamics to improve aerodynamic efficiency, with a wider windscreen and refined air channelling that reduces helmet buffeting at Indian highway speeds.

From the front, the Road Glide's LED Daymaker headlights and signature LED accent lighting give it a distinctly modern, aggressive face for what is fundamentally a retro-influenced platform. The chrome-finished contrast-cut aluminium wheels (483 mm front, 457 mm rear) add a premium visual element.

The cockpit is centred around the 312 mm (12.3-inch) Skyline OS TFT touchscreen - the largest display on any touring motorcycle in this class. Integrated into the fairing, it gives the Road Glide a clean, purpose-built dashboard feel rather than the bolt-on look common on older touring bikes.

The side profile is dominated by the hard saddlebags mounted low on the chassis, keeping the centre of gravity manageable for the bike's 387 kg bulk. The one-piece touring seat flows cleanly into the tail section, giving the Road Glide a long, composed silhouette that is very recognisable on the highway.
