Breakout Photos

The Harley-Davidson Breakout is one of the most photogenic bikes in India's premium cruiser segment, and the design repays close inspection. Starting from the front: the oval LED headlight sits within a blacked-out housing, flanked by stacked LED turn signals. The fork legs are exposed and raked at a steep 34 degrees - more aggressive than most cruisers - giving the Breakout a stretched, purposeful stance even when standing still.

Move to the side and the profile tells the whole story. The teardrop fuel tank flows into minimal bodywork, and the seat sits low enough that there is almost no visual height between bike and rider. The rear fender is a bobtail cut that barely covers the 240/40-R18 rear tyre - that massive rear tyre is simultaneously the most striking visual element and the primary reason this bike handles the way it does.

Engine detail shots reveal the Milwaukee-Eight 117's distinctive rocker covers and the twin exhaust outlets that run down the right side of the bike. The two-into-two shotgun exhausts are tucked close to the frame and finished in black - no chrome, consistent with the Breakout's dark aesthetic.

From the rear, the 240-section tyre fills the frame completely. The minimalist tail light is integrated cleanly, and the absence of visible rear suspension components - they are hidden under the seat and fender - reinforces the hardtail illusion that is central to the Breakout's design brief.

Colour rendering varies noticeably across Harley's five India options. Billiard Gray and Midnight Firestorm photograph best in overcast daylight. Vivid Black and Brilliant Red benefit from direct sunlight to show their depth. Centerline's metallic quality only becomes apparent in motion.
