Ducati Streetfighter V4 Variants and Prices
The Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in two variants in India, priced Rs 3.70 lakh apart.
Streetfighter V4 - Rs 28,68,600 (ex-showroom) The standard variant gets the full 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine with 214 PS, fully adjustable Showa BPF 43mm USD forks, and a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. You get the complete 6-axis IMU electronics suite - Race eCBS, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control, launch control, and the bi-directional DQS quickshifter - all standard. The 6.9-inch TFT dashboard, Brembo Hypure brakes, Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres, and the winglet-equipped bodywork are identical to the S. Colours: Ducati Red and Grey Nero.
Streetfighter V4 S - Rs 32,38,400 (ex-showroom) The S adds three meaningful upgrades over the base. First: Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 electronically adjustable suspension at both ends - you can adjust preload, compression, and rebound from the TFT while seated, or set it to automatic and let the electronics adapt to road conditions. Second: forged aluminium wheels replace the standard cast units, reducing unsprung weight and improving steering responsiveness. Third: a lithium-ion battery replaces the lead-acid unit, saving approximately 2 kg. The V4 S weighs 189 kg versus 191 kg for the standard - the gap is small, but every kilogram matters on a 214 PS motorcycle.
Which one makes sense? The standard V4 is the rational choice - the suspension, though not Öhlins, is fully adjustable and competent for both road and track use. The Öhlins Smart EC 3.0 on the S genuinely shines if you're doing track days and want automatic mid-session adjustment, or if you regularly switch between city and highway riding and want the suspension to adapt without stopping to adjust manually.

Both variants are available at all eight Ducati authorised dealerships in India: Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kolkata. The standard V4 and V4 S share identical engine, electronics, brakes, and tyres - the price difference is entirely in the suspension hardware, wheel material, and battery type. If you're buying the Streetfighter V4 primarily as a highway and weekend bike and your track day visits are occasional, the standard V4 at Rs 28.69 lakh is the better value proposition. If you track regularly or want the full flagship spec, the S is worth the Rs 3.70 lakh premium.
