The price increase reflects the cost of Euro 5+ compliance, updated electronics, and several meaningful mechanical changes.
What changed for 2026: The most significant update is a 6 PS power increase to 214 PS, with the V4 engine now meeting Euro 5+ emission standards. The iconic single-sided swingarm has been replaced with a new hollow symmetrical double-sided swingarm that reduces lateral stiffness by over 40% - a change that improves rear grip feel under hard cornering at the cost of the aesthetic statement the single-sider made. The handlebar is 10mm closer and the footpegs are lower and more forward, addressing the most consistent ergonomic complaint about the outgoing model. The new Race eCBS system - which automatically applies rear braking under hard front-only braking - is the headline electronics addition. A 6.9-inch TFT dashboard replaces the smaller unit from the previous generation.
