Ducati Panigale V4 Variants and Prices in India
The Ducati Panigale V4 is available in three variants in India, each targeting a different type of buyer - weekend road rider, serious sports rider, and outright track-day enthusiast.
Panigale V4 - Rs. 32,05,100 (ex-showroom)
The entry point into the Panigale V4 family. You get the full 219 bhp Desmosedici engine, Brembo Monobloc Stylema brakes, Showa BPF fully adjustable suspension, and the complete electronics package including 6-axis IMU. Objectively, there is very little that feels compromised here - the 'base' Panigale V4 would embarrass most superbikes in the world.
Panigale V4 S - Rs. 39,00,800 (ex-showroom)
The V4 S adds Ohlins NIX30 front forks and an Ohlins TTX36 rear shock with electronic adjustment, along with forged aluminium wheels that shed unsprung weight. For riders who track their bike regularly or do long spirited runs on open roads, the suspension upgrade is genuinely worth the Rs. 7 lakh premium. The improved feedback at the limit is noticeable from the first corner.
Panigale V4 R - Rs. 84,99,999 (ex-showroom)
The R is a homologation special built for Superbike World Championship eligibility. The engine is bored down to 998cc and produces 240 bhp (228 bhp with road-legal exhaust). It adds Ohlins electronic suspension, carbon fibre bodywork, and winglets engineered in Ducati's wind tunnel. Top speed approaches 330 km/h. This is not a road bike that moonlights on track - it is a race bike that is road-registered.

All prices are ex-showroom India. On-road costs vary significantly by state due to RTO charges - Maharashtra and Karnataka apply some of the highest road taxes on premium motorcycles, adding Rs. 3-5 lakh over ex-showroom on the standard V4. Factor in comprehensive insurance (Rs. 80,000 - Rs. 1,20,000 first year) and dealer handling charges when calculating your actual outgo.
Ducati India runs periodic exchange offers and accessory packages; ask your nearest authorised dealer in Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, or Hyderabad for current deals. Ducati certified pre-owned programmes occasionally list ex-demo V4 units at meaningful discounts.
