Ducati Panigale V4 News and Updates
The 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 was launched in India in March 2025 at Rs. 32,05,100 for the standard variant and Rs. 39,00,800 for the V4 S. The 2025 update brought revised Brembo Hypure front calipers on the V4 S and V4 R, updated electronics software for improved Ducati Traction Control and Slide Control behaviour, and revised ergonomics - the clip-ons were repositioned slightly to reduce fatigue on longer rides.
The Panigale V4 R followed on January 2, 2026, priced at Rs. 84,99,999 - a homologation special with a 998cc version of the Desmosedici producing 240 bhp and eligible for Superbike World Championship competition.
In May 2026, Ducati India announced the Panigale V4 Lamborghini edition, a collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini, priced at Rs. 1 crore. The global allocation sold out before most Indian buyers could place an order - Ducati India's official allocation was fully committed within hours of the announcement going live.
The 2025 model year also saw a service bulletin issued for select V4 units regarding heat shield fitment near the rear brake master cylinder line - dealers were authorised to retrofit a heat deflector under warranty. Owners who noticed unusual heat near the right rear of the bike should confirm with their dealer whether the service action has been completed on their unit.

Ducati India launched the Panigale V4 Lamborghini Edition on May 12, 2026 at Rs. 1 crore (ex-showroom) - a collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini featuring a unique yellow-and-black livery inspired by the Huracán STO. India's entire allocation sold out within hours of the announcement.
Ducati India announced a price hike effective June 1, 2026 across select models including the Panigale V4, with increases of up to 5% on ex-showroom prices. The standard V4's Rs. 32,05,100 price will rise by approximately Rs. 1.60 lakh, taking it to around Rs. 33.65 lakh ex-showroom from June 1.
Ducati India recalled 393 units of the Panigale V4 (model years 2018-2024) and Streetfighter V4 over a potential defect in the rear wheel axle on the single-sided swingarm. Affected owners are being contacted directly; the fix involves inspection and replacement of the defective axle at authorised dealerships at no cost.
Ducati unveiled the Superleggera V4 Centenario globally - limited to 600 units worldwide - with India's allocation already pre-booked. The bike produces 247 bhp on track and features the world's first carbon ceramic disc brakes on a production motorcycle; expected India pricing is in the Rs. 2.5-3 crore range though no official figure has been confirmed.
Ducati India is expected to announce 2026 model year updates for the standard Panigale V4 and V4 S in late 2025 or early 2026 - timing typically aligns with the EICMA Milan show in November. Historically, updates have been incremental for the V4 rather than full redesigns; the current generation is underpinned by a platform that arrived in 2018 and has been progressively refined since.
