Ducati Diavel V4 Latest News, Updates & Launches in India
The Ducati Diavel V4 was globally unveiled in 2023 as a major evolution over the outgoing Diavel 1260, replacing the L-twin engine with the V4 Granturismo unit also found in the Multistrada V4. The India launch followed at Rs 25.91 lakh (ex-showroom), making it the most performance-focused power cruiser in the country at the time.
Since launch, Ducati India has revised the Diavel V4's pricing upward multiple times. The current ex-showroom price of Rs 29,07,600 represents an increase of approximately Rs 3.16 lakh from the launch price - a consequence of rupee depreciation against the Euro, revised import duty structures, and updated GST levies on CBU motorcycles.
In late 2024, Ducati launched the XDiavel V4 in India - a more relaxed, longer-wheelbase sibling of the Diavel V4, using the same V4 Granturismo engine in a traditional cruiser-oriented chassis. The XDiavel V4 is priced from Rs 30,88,700 (ex-showroom) and gives buyers a choice between two riding characters within the Diavel family.
The 2025 model year Diavel V4 received calibration updates to the DTC (Ducati Traction Control) and cornering ABS systems, improving low-speed sensitivity on slippery surfaces. No mechanical changes were made. Ducati's global roadmap suggests a 2026 refresh may bring updated TFT software, revised ride mode logic, and potential new colour options - though nothing has been officially confirmed for India.

Ducati India is set to increase prices across its entire lineup by up to 5% from June 1, 2026. For the Diavel V4, currently priced from Rs 29,07,600 (ex-showroom), this translates to a potential increase of up to Rs 1.45 lakh on the base variant.
Ducati has confirmed the limited-edition Diavel V4 RS will come to India in 2026, with an expected ex-showroom price upwards of Rs 40 lakh. The V4 RS is a performance-focused variant of the Diavel V4 featuring the more powerful 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale engine from the Panigale V4.
Ducati globally unveiled the Diavel V4 RS with a 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine producing 182 hp at 11,750 rpm - 14 hp more than the standard Diavel V4. Key upgrades include Ohlins suspension, Brembo Stylema calipers, carbon-fibre components, and a 220 kg kerb weight (16 kg lighter). US dealerships began receiving units in March 2026 at $39,995.
