R nineT Ex-Showroom Price

The BMW R nineT was discontinued in India in April 2024. The R nineT was imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) from Germany, making it subject to India's full import duty structure. Like the M 1000 RR before it, the R nineT's India price carried a significant duty premium over its European equivalent - the same motorcycle was available in Germany for approximately €15,000-16,000 (roughly Rs 13-14 lakh at current exchange rates), while Indian buyers paid Rs 19 lakh for the Standard. This import premium has been a consistent discussion point in Indian heritage motorcycle communities.

For used market buyers in 2026: clean Standard R nineT examples are trading in the Rs 12-16 lakh range; 100 Years Edition examples with low mileage and complete documentation trade at Rs 15-19 lakh. Heavily modified examples with quality aftermarket work - full cafe racer conversions, tracker builds, custom seats and bars - are priced individually based on modification quality and can reach Rs 20+ lakh for exceptional builds.
