Ampere Magnus Latest News
The biggest recent Ampere Magnus news is the 12 August 2026 update to the Magnus G Max, which added the NxG.io connected platform with 30+ features - cruise control, hill hold assist, turn-by-turn navigation, live tracking, geofencing, and theft/tow alerts - on the NxG.io variant priced at Rs 1,09,999, alongside an unchanged Rs 1,02,999 STD variant. This follows a turbulent year for the Magnus name: the original Magnus EX was discontinued on 11 March 2026, and its replacement, the Magnus Grand - marketed as Ampere's "2026 Electric Scooter of the Year" - was itself discontinued on 15 July 2026, after only a few months on sale. The Magnus Neo has been the more stable half of the lineup, holding its Rs 90,999 ex-showroom price through 2026 with only colour additions.

Ampere has not announced a successor to the Magnus Grand, nor any further Magnus variant beyond the current Neo and G Max. Buyers should treat any online listing for the Magnus EX or Magnus Grand as referring to discontinued stock, not a currently purchasable model. Given the pace of change on this nameplate in 2026, buyers are advised to confirm current variant availability and pricing directly with an Ampere dealer before finalising a purchase.
