Zontes 350T Variants & Prices: Which One to Buy?
The Zontes 350T is sold in two variants in India, and the Rs 24,000 gap between them buys a meaningful hardware upgrade - not just a cosmetic tweak.
Zontes 350T (Standard) - Rs 2,75,000 ex-showroom The base variant runs 17-inch alloy wheels with road-biased rubber: 120/70-17 front and 160/60-17 rear. These are the right tyres for someone who will spend 90% of their time on tarmac - they handle better at speed, give crisper feedback on corners, and are easier to replace when worn. Standard colour options are Orange and Champagne.
Zontes 350T ADV - Rs 2,99,000 ex-showroom The ADV variant replaces the alloy wheels with spoked units - 21-inch front and 19-inch rear, both tubeless. This is a segment-first feature: most adventure bikes with spoked wheels run tube-type tyres, which are a roadside nightmare when punctured. The ADV's tubeless spoked rims mean you can plug a flat and ride to the nearest tyre shop like you would with any alloy wheel. The suspension is slightly reworked for mixed terrain, and the riding position is marginally more upright. Everything else - engine, electronics, brakes - is identical to the standard variant.
Which should you buy? If you ride 80% tarmac and 20% broken roads, the standard 350T at Rs 2,75,000 is the smarter choice - the road tyres give sharper handling and the alloy wheels are simpler to maintain. If you plan proper gravel trails or regularly navigate rough forest roads, the ADV's tubeless spoked wheels justify the premium. The ADV's ground clearance and suspension tune also make it more forgiving on unmade surfaces.
