2025: New ES+ Variant Launched, ELS Discontinued TVS launched a refreshed Sport lineup in 2025 with the introduction of the new ES+ variant, positioned above the existing ES. The update brought sportier dual-tone graphics, new colour options including Black Neon and Starlight Blue, and OBD-2B compliance for the updated BS6 Phase 2 engine. Simultaneously, the premium ELS variant (which previously topped the lineup at around Rs 67,000-71,000) was discontinued, simplifying the range to two variants.
The 2025 update also addressed minor comfort improvements: revised seat cushioning for better support over city distances and the addition of a USB charger port - a practical addition for riders who mount their phone for navigation.
2020: 100cc to 110cc Upgrade (BS6 Transition) The most significant engineering change came in April 2020 when TVS upgraded the Sport from a 100cc carburetted engine to a 109.7cc fuel-injected motor to meet BS6 emission norms. The ETFI system was introduced at this point, delivering the efficiency improvements TVS claims over the older setup.
TVS Sport in the Market The Sport has remained one of TVS Motor's entry-level volume sellers, competing in the sub-Rs 70,000 commuter segment alongside Hero HF Deluxe and Bajaj CT110. It is particularly strong in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets where fuel economy is the primary purchase criterion.

TVS has discontinued the top-end ELS variant of the Sport, simplifying the lineup to two variants - ES (Rs 59,881) and ES+ (Rs 60,881) ex-showroom Delhi. The ELS was priced Rs 10,904 higher than the ES+ despite offering no additional mechanical features.
TVS Motor launched the 2025 Sport ES+ variant at Rs 59,881 (ex-showroom), slotted between the base ES and ELS. The ES+ brings two exclusive colour options - Grey Red and Black Neon - along with sportier graphics, colour-coded alloy wheel pinstriping, a black pillion grab rail, and a USB charging port on the instrument console.
The TVS Sport has had a relatively stable product lifecycle with incremental updates rather than generational redesigns. The 2025 refresh focused on visual differentiation and regulatory compliance (OBD-2B). No significant mechanical changes have been announced beyond the 2020 BS6 upgrade.
