TVS Ntorq 125 Specifications
The TVS Ntorq 125 is powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder, 3-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine producing 9.5 PS at 7,000 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque. The higher-spec Race XP and XT variants extract a little more - 10.06 bhp and 10.8 Nm - from an upgraded engine tune. Power reaches the rear wheel through a CVT automatic transmission, making city riding effortless.
The chassis runs TVS's proven steel frame with telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. One standout spec: the Ntorq runs 12-inch wheels at both ends, while most rivals fit a smaller 10-inch rear wheel. The larger rear wheel improves straight-line stability and cornering confidence in a meaningful way.
Braking is handled by a front disc and rear drum, paired with a Combined Braking System (CBS) - standard across all variants and genuinely useful in emergency stops in Mumbai or Delhi traffic.
Kerb weight is 111 kg, seat height is 770 mm, and ground clearance is 155 mm - enough for the city potholes you'll encounter daily. The 5.8-litre fuel tank delivers a practical range of 240-280 km depending on riding style.
Underseat storage is 22 litres - workable for groceries and a small bag, but the shaped bin won't fit a full-face helmet. A USB charging port keeps devices topped up on longer runs.
Features by variant: all models get an all-digital instrument cluster, LED headlight and tail lamp, and front disc brake. The Race Edition and above add TVS SmartXonnect Bluetooth for navigation, call/SMS alerts, and ride statistics. The Race XP and XT also get a Performance mode and race analytics on the display.

On paper, the Ntorq 125 holds a clear performance edge over the Honda Activa 125 (8.2 bhp) and Suzuki Access 125 (8.7 bhp). The trade-off is real-world mileage: the 48.5 kmpl ARAI figure rarely survives contact with actual Indian roads. Expect 38-45 kmpl with restrained riding and 30-35 kmpl if you use the performance headroom regularly. If consistent fuel efficiency is your top priority, the Activa 125 or Access 125 are more reliable choices. The Ntorq earns its place with the rider who wants something more from a daily commuter.
