Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE Images
The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE's design is unmistakably functional - this is a motorcycle built around touring capability, and its aesthetics follow that purpose.
Front profile
The most distinctive element is the hexagonal multi-LED headlight cluster - it is polarising but uniquely identifiable. The prominent beak-style front fender is a signature V-Strom design cue carried across the range. The adjustable windscreen is tall and provides useful wind protection for highway runs, though taller riders may find the turbulence zone sits closer to helmet level than ideal.
Side profile
The side view reveals a muscular fuel tank with knee recesses that help shorter riders reach the ground on one side. Wire-spoke wheels with block-pattern tyres reinforce the off-road intent. The exhaust sits tucked high on the right side - a smart layout for water crossings and improved ground clearance on trails.
Cockpit and instruments
The 5-inch TFT dashboard is bright and readable in daylight, integrating riding mode, gear position indicator, traction control status, and fuel gauge in a clean layout. The handlebar-mounted switchgear is logically arranged, though the menu navigation takes a few rides to learn without looking down. The wide, tapered handlebars give excellent leverage and control feel.
Rear and seat
The split seat has a generous rider section and a firm pillion perch. The rear luggage rack is flat and useful for strapping soft luggage or a dry bag. Panel fit and finish quality is consistent with what Suzuki delivers at this price - solid and well-assembled, if not as premium-feeling as European rivals.
The Champion Yellow No.2 and Pearl Tech White colours photograph especially well outdoors; the Glass Sparkle Black reads darker and flatter without direct light.

Road / Lifestyle
Before committing to a purchase, visit the showroom and check the seat height in person. At 855 mm, the V-Strom 800 DE is on the tall side for average-height Indian riders. The narrow front section of the seat helps - most riders of 5'6" and above can flatfoot one side comfortably once the suspension settles with rider weight. The 2025 colour options look noticeably different under showroom lighting versus outdoor sun - the Pearl Tech White's blue rims are more vivid in natural light. Also inspect the spoke wheels and tyre condition, and confirm with the dealer whether a puncture repair kit is included with delivery.
