Meteor 350 Specifications

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is powered by the J-series 349cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine that also does duty in the Classic 350 and Hunter 350 - but tuned for relaxed cruising. It makes 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox that now gets an assist and slipper clutch from the 2025 update onwards. The slipper clutch notably lightens clutch effort in stop-go traffic, which is noticeable over long city commutes.

ARAI-certified mileage is 41.88 kmpl, with owners typically reporting 34-38 kmpl in mixed city-highway riding. The 15-litre tank - larger than the Classic 350's 13 litres - translates to real-world touring range north of 480 km before you're hunting for a petrol pump.

At 191 kg, the Meteor is 4 kg lighter than the Classic 350, and the 765mm seat height is among the most accessible in its segment. It sits lower than both the Classic (805mm) and the Hunter (790mm), making it approachable even for shorter riders. Ground clearance is 170mm - adequate for most Indian roads but worth watching on heavily rutted village roads.

Braking is handled by a dual-disc setup (front and rear) with dual-channel ABS as standard - a meaningful safety upgrade that the older generation model lacked on lower variants. Suspension is telescopic 41mm forks up front with 130mm travel, and twin-tube emulsion rear shocks with 6-step preload adjustment. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear tubeless alloy wheels are shod with wider-section rubber for a planted feel on highways.
