Keeway SR125 - Latest News, Price Updates & Changes
October 2022 - India Launch at Rs 1,19,000 Keeway launched the SR125 in India on October 13, 2022, at an introductory ex-showroom price of Rs 1,19,000 - positioning it as the brand's seventh model in the Indian lineup. The launch made it the only 125cc bike in India with dual disc brakes at the time of launch.
Three Colour Options from Day One At launch, Keeway offered the SR125 in Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Red - all three at the same price. No additional colour options have been introduced since launch.
Price Revision The SR125 ex-showroom price has since been revised upward from the launch price of Rs 1,19,000 to the current Rs 1,24,992. The revision is in line with general cost increases in the CKD import segment post-launch.
Single Variant Strategy Unlike many competitors that offer multiple variants (standard, drum, disc), Keeway has maintained a single-variant approach for the SR125 - a consistent strategic choice that simplifies the buying decision.
Dealer Network Expansion Since launch, Keeway - which shares dealer infrastructure with Benelli in India - has gradually expanded its presence, though coverage remains concentrated in larger cities. Tier-2 and Tier-3 city availability continues to be a gap compared to Honda, TVS, and Bajaj.
