April 2025 - OBD2B Compliant Update Launched Honda launched the updated Shine 100 with OBD2B (On-Board Diagnostics 2B) compliance in April 2025 to meet India's latest emission norms. The updated bike was priced at Rs 68,767 (ex-showroom Delhi) at launch - a roughly Rs 3,800 premium over the outgoing model. The engine specifications remain unchanged (98.98cc, 7.38 PS, 8.04 Nm), and real-world mileage is unaffected. The OBD2B system adds onboard fault diagnostics that Honda service centres can read using a standard tool, making future servicing more transparent.
August 2025 - Honda Shine 100 DX Launched Honda launched the Shine 100 DX at Rs 74,959 (ex-showroom Gurugram) in August 2025, marking the 25th anniversary of Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India. The DX brings a digital-analogue instrument cluster, updated graphics, new metallic colour options, and premium badging. It was unveiled alongside the Honda CB125 Hornet at the same event. The DX has since been priced at Rs 71,672 in Delhi following initial promotional pricing.
September 2025 - GST 2.0 Price Reduction Following changes to GST applicability on entry-level two-wheelers in September 2025, the Shine 100 Standard saw its price reduce to approximately Rs 63,482 in Delhi temporarily.
