Honda CB200X Latest News and Updates
May 2025 - Honda CB200X discontinued Honda officially ended production of the CB200X in India. The bike is replaced by the Honda NX200, priced at Rs 1,68,499 (ex-showroom Delhi), which brings more ground clearance, a revised chassis, and updated styling to the adventure-tourer segment. Existing CB200X owners have been assured of spare parts support for the standard 5-year period post-discontinuation.
February 2025 - Honda NX200 launched Honda pre-empted the CB200X discontinuation by launching the NX200 in February 2025. The NX200 uses the same 184.4 cc engine but gets higher ground clearance, revised suspension travel, and a new ADV-focused design language. This signalled clearly that the CB200X's days were numbered.
September 2023 - Updated CB200X with slipper clutch Honda refreshed the CB200X with a slipper and assist clutch, OBD-2 compliance, and a new Matte Selene Silver Metallic colour. The update addressed one of the biggest rider complaints about the original model - heavy clutch pull in stop-go traffic. The price was revised upward slightly at this point.
October 2021 - Honda CB200X launched at Rs 1.44 lakh Honda launched the CB200X at Rs 1,44,900 as India's first mass-market mini adventure tourer with USD forks. The launch was met with widespread interest as Honda brought aspirational hardware to the Rs 1.5 lakh price bracket for the first time.

For current news on the Honda adventure tourer range, the Honda NX200 is the bike to follow. Existing CB200X owners looking for service support should register their bike with the Honda Care programme. Honda maintains a dense service network across India - even in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities - so ownership support remains strong despite the model's discontinuation.
