Ducati SuperSport 950 Variants and Prices
The Ducati SuperSport 950 is available in three variants in India - effectively one standard and two S variants differentiated by colour.
SuperSport 950 Standard - Rs 17,16,100 (ex-showroom) Ducati Red only. Gets the full 937cc Testastretta 11° DS engine with 110.1 PS, fully adjustable 43mm Marzocchi USD forks, and a Sachs semi-adjustable monoshock. Brembo Monobloc M4-32 brakes, Bosch Cornering ABS, traction control, and three riding modes are all standard. The one notable absence: the DQS quickshifter. Every gear change requires the clutch. For a Rs 17 lakh motorcycle, this is a meaningful omission - but the riding modes and brakes are fully matched to the S.
SuperSport 950 S Pure White (Arctic White Silk) - Rs 19,97,500 (ex-showroom) Upgrades to 48mm fully adjustable Öhlins USD forks and a fully adjustable Öhlins rear monoshock - a significant step up in damping quality and range of adjustment. Also adds the Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) bi-directional quickshifter for clutchless up and downshifts. Arctic White Silk is an exclusive colour unavailable on the Standard.
SuperSport 950 S Ducati Red - Rs 20,10,300 (ex-showroom) Identical specification to the S Pure White - Öhlins suspension, DQS quickshifter - in Ducati Red. The Rs 12,800 price premium over the Pure White variant is purely for the colour.
Which one to buy? The Standard at Rs 17.16 lakh is the value entry - the Brembo brakes and electronics are unchanged from the S. The S makes the most sense if you regularly ride on imperfect surfaces (the Öhlins damping improvement is noticeable on real Indian roads) or if clutchless shifting matters to you on long highway runs.

All three variants share the same 937cc engine, frame, brakes, tyres, and electronics suite - the Rs 2.81-2.94 lakh premium for the S buys suspension hardware and a quickshifter. For riders primarily in urban environments, the Standard is the rational choice. For those who regularly leave the city - weekend Ghats runs, Ladakh tours, track day visits - the Öhlins suspension on the S is worth it. Both are available at all eight Ducati authorised dealerships in India.
