Bajaj CT 125X Latest News
The Bajaj CT 125X was officially discontinued in November 2024. Bajaj cited persistently low sales volumes as the primary reason - the CT 125X occupied an awkward mid-position between the simpler CT 110 (which served pure economy buyers) and the sportier Pulsar 125 and TVS Raider 125 (which attracted buyers willing to spend slightly more for meaningful performance). The adventure 'X' styling attracted interest but did not translate into sustained purchase volume.
Dealer stock of remaining CT 125X units is expected to deplete over time. Bajaj has not announced a direct replacement for the CT 125X's adventure-styled 125cc niche.

Bajaj Auto officially discontinued the CT 125X in November 2024 due to persistently low sales volumes. The model was removed from Bajaj's active product lineup. The CT 125X had occupied an awkward mid-position between the entry-level CT 110 and the sportier Pulsar 125 - buyers who wanted pure economy chose the cheaper CT 110, while buyers seeking more performance and style opted for the Pulsar 125 or TVS Raider 125. The adventure-styled 'X' branding attracted interest but could not sustain sufficient purchase volume. Bajaj has not announced a direct replacement. Remaining dealer stock is expected to deplete over the following months.
The discontinuation of the CT 125X, alongside the Avenger Street 160, reflects Bajaj's ongoing portfolio rationalisation - focusing resources on high-volume products (Splendor-equivalent commuters, Pulsar range, and Dominar) and exiting low-volume niches. The 125cc adventure commuter segment in India remains relatively small despite the popularity of adventure styling in higher-displacement categories.
