The Royal Enfield Classic 650 is powered by a 647.95cc, air/oil-cooled, SOHC, inline parallel-twin engine that produces 46.39 bhp (47.04 PS) at 7250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of peak torque at 5650 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed constant-mesh gearbox with a slipper and assist clutch - making city riding less of a chore and gear changes noticeably lighter than older RE models.
