The Jawa 350 is built around a 334cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine - an architecture that immediately separates it from air-cooled rivals like the Royal Enfield Classic 350. Peak power is 22.5 bhp at 7,000 rpm, and maximum torque is 28.1 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Those numbers make it the most powerful bike in the retro-roadster 350cc bracket.

The powertrain sends drive through a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch - the only bike in this class to offer both. Practical benefits: lighter lever pull in city traffic, and less rear-wheel hop on aggressive downshifts on the highway.

Braking comes from a 280mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc, with dual-channel ABS fitted as standard across every variant - including the base Legacy Edition. The suspension setup uses telescopic forks up front and twin shock absorbers at the rear, tuned for a blend of comfort and stability.

At 194 kg (kerb weight), the Jawa 350 is the heaviest of its direct rivals, so low-speed city maneuvering takes some getting used to. Seat height is 765 mm - accessible for most Indian riders of average build. Ground clearance is 178 mm, which is 13 mm more than the Classic 350 and helps avoid scraping on Mumbai's potholed secondary roads or broken highway shoulders.

The 13.2-litre fuel tank, paired with an ARAI-claimed efficiency of 30 kmpl, gives a theoretical full-tank range of around 396 km - enough for a long NH stretch without anxiety. Real-world city returns typically land between 22 and 26 kmpl depending on traffic conditions.
