The 249.07 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine produces 30.57 bhp (31 PS) at 9,500 rpm and 25 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm - the same figures as its Austrian sibling, but wrapped in a distinctly Scandinavian package.

The chassis is a high-strength steel trellis frame using hydroformed tubes and robot welding, giving it the specific flex characteristics that make the Vitpilen feel so planted mid-corner. Suspension duties are handled by WP APEX USD (upside-down) forks at the front and a WP APEX mono-shock at the rear - both units tuned stiffly for maximum feedback at the cost of cushioning.

Stopping power comes from ByBre calipers clamping onto a 320 mm front disc and a 230 mm rear disc, backed by a dual-channel Bosch ABS system with a Supermoto mode that lets you disable rear ABS for spirited riding.
